I’ve been working on a new kitchen design and I’m still just as obsessed with white oak cabinets and floors as much as when I designed our own kitchen 5 years ago. It’s calming to the eye and I say it’s here to stay for the long haul. Can’t wait to share what I’ve been up to soon!! Any guesses?!

Rearranged the living room furniture and snapped a quick photo. I have been wanting to switch things up in here for awhile but still loved all the furniture. Sometimes all you need to do for a fresh look is shuffle things around! That daybed has been a staple in our living rooms (previous home too) for 7 years! I can’t seem to part with it. I do have some fun updates happening on the other side of the living room that I’ll share when complete. May take a while so don’t hold your breath! Our home projects have taken the backseat due to some bigger projects I’ve been hinting about. This year is full of exciting things!!

Who loves a good brick wall along with saturated color? Me. But keep everything else neutral around it. That’s my balance.
If you are nervous about trying the unexpected in your home design, just go for it! All that matters is what you love!❤️ Just be careful not to follow a design trend because everyone else is doing it. If it doesn’t resonate with you, I promise you’ll end up wanting to change it sooner than you’d like.
