Be My Guest For Christmas

Hi friends! Did you happen to see my Christmas Home tour on Monday?  You can see it HERE in case you missed it! Thank you to all of you who visited, I hope you enjoyed it! With the holiday season upon us that means family coming and going in our home.  Even a guest bedroom needs some Christmas cheer that says “be my guest for Christmas!”  I finished up this bedroom makeover at the end of the summer {you can see the bedroom makeover and full source list here}.  Now that I’m loving it’s new look, I’m so much more motivated to dress it up for the holidays this year!

I hung a simple wreath from Target above the bed.  The Merry pillow I found at Marshalls.

The mini burlap wrapped Christmas tree is from Homegoods. The mini ornaments are from Target.  I’m loving all the color in this room!  Christmas just adds to the cheery brightness! I have a big crush on that peacock blue velvet bed!  It really just makes this whole room!

Isn’t this metallic gold wood grain wrapping paper so pretty?  Run, don’t walk, to Target! {how many times have I mentioned Target already? I’m slightly addicted}

The stag head is from Target {oops! I said it again!} last year and I keep him up year round. He’s pretty happy his season is back!  The gold urn filled with lights and ornaments is a piece I’ve had for so many years! I can’t believe the lights still work! Most of my Christmas decor is just recycled in different rooms each year to give it a new feeling.

We had family in town for Thanksgiving and my mother in law stayed with the boys while Tim and I were in Florida checking on the beach cottage renovations last week {more to come on on that!}.  So this room welcomed guests a couple of times already! I want my guests to feel comfortable and relaxed in a room that I’ve given effort to make pretty.  Not always has my guest bedroom been so nice.  I’m pretty happy with how it all turned out!
