All is cozy in the hearth room. I love this season with a blanket of snow in the forest outside our windows and the tree lights glowing✨🎄Do you put presents under the tree before Christmas? I’ve always waited until Christmas Eve just before bedtime. My boys always loved the surprise of seeing the gifts Christmas morning🎁

Mixing old with new. Our hearth room got a little update with these gorgeous chairs (one will go where tree currently is). You may recognize I have the same chairs in the living room. Love them that much. The modern angular shape and deep seated velvety fabric is 👌New marble top coffee table is smaller than the last one and suddenly the room feels bigger. Took the zebra rug from another room and wondering why I didn’t do this sooner! Love the look and also solved my issue of our area rug being a little too small. The hide rug allows extra footage to ground that chair on. Also, this might be one of my favorite Christmas tree designs ever. The burgundy ribbon and candle lights feel so nostalgic of childhood. Feels so cozy for the holidays ✨✨

Amalfi coast you have my heart! 🇮🇹❤️
I want to share all the details and photos on the blog but for now here’s a small snippet of one of the most incredible experiences of my life!
Top 5 highlights:
- Our stay @ilsanpietrodipositano ❤️ The absolute most relaxing and BEAUTIFUL place. Heaven on earth! With private beach club (a rare luxury on the coast). A short 5 min boat ride or drive to Positano.
-Touring up the coast by boat and seeing all the beautiful towns from water view
-Lemon pasta 🍋
-Quiet strolls in Capri during the evening when the tourist crowds left the island (we stayed 2 nights here)
-Swimming in the deep blue ocean. The water is so beautiful and I (temporarily) got over my fear of sharks!
