The Forest Modern: Design Plans for a Modern Organic Bathroom

Thank you to Delta® for sponsoring today’s post. As always all designs, opinions and photography are my own.

I’m on a roll with bathrooms in our new home! Quite frankly, I LOVE planning and designing these spaces. So far, I’ve revealed three bathrooms at The Forest Modern. Our master bathroom HERE which I still have a big crush on!  Also, our posh steel powder bath HERE, are you as obsessed with that steel divider wall as much as I am? Then I showed you one of the three upstairs bathrooms in our son’s bedroom with a classic subway tile bathroom HERE.  If you missed them, be sure to check them out!  We did however, leave one bathroom to finish after we moved in. Mostly because I just ran out of steam and had stopped feeling creative.

When Delta® reached out to me recently to partner in an exciting program, I was thrilled to jump on board and get started with a design plan for a modern organic bathroom. In planning the room design, I wanted to stay consistent with the design aesthetic of the entire home. I absolutely love Delta® products and have their Trinsic® line already in all of our boys’ bathrooms, including this one. The matte black finish, seamless edges and modern design of this faucet evokes quite the statement in a bathroom.

I first fell in love with Delta® when we renovated our beach cottage a few years ago. We put the Dryden™ Faucets in all of our bathrooms there and have been very happy with the quality, beauty and performance of these sleek faucets. You can see more of those faucets and tour our beach cottage bathrooms HERE.

Whenever I begin a design project, I like to gather images and put them together on a design board. It’s a good way to visualize all the design elements and how they play off each other.

Vanity // Light Fixture  // Mirror  // Faucet  // Art  // Basket // Rug

The bathroom we will be working on over the next month is a powder bath in our basement. It sits across the hallway from Tim’s home office and he’ll be happy to finally see it usable and complete! Here is a before photo to show you what we are working with.  Just a lonely toilet…lol!

I can’t wait to get started on this bathroom and share the makeover with you soon! Stay tuned!

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Delta® Faucet. The opinions and text are all mine.
